A Marion man was arrested on felony DWI and unlicensed-operation charges after a traffic stop early Friday in the village of Palmyra, according to the Wayne County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies said the stop occurred at 1:09 a.m. Oct. 30 after the driver allegedly failed to yield the right of way at a red light.
The driver was identified as Kevin Ide, of Marion.
Deputies also reported tinted side windows on his vehicle.
Investigators alleged that Ide was driving with a suspended license and was intoxicated.
He was arrested and taken to the sheriff's office, where he refused a chemical breath test, according to the release.
Ide was charged with felony driving while intoxicated, first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, obstructing governmental administration and several other vehicle and traffic violations.
The sheriff's office said he was transferred to centralized arraignment court for an arraignment scheduled for 7 a.m. Oct. 30.
