Deputies allege Harris was driving while impaired and also charged him with an inadequate headlight and operating an uninspected vehicle.

Harris was taken to the sheriff's office, where he submitted to a chemical test and an evaluation by a drug recognition expert.

He was issued traffic tickets and is due in Marion Town Court at a later date.

Deputies also found an outstanding warrant from the Brighton Police Department and turned Harris over to that department.
