Foundation grant supports the series

“We are excited to continue this series as part of our commitment to preserving and sharing history,” said Andrew Olden, the museum’s executive director.

Olden said the anniversary provides an opportunity to reflect on the country’s past and the stories that continue to shape communities today.

Grant funding from the Bonafiglia Family Foundation supports the program, helping the museum provide educational activities and community programming throughout the year.

The museum is home to the Seneca Museum of Waterways and Industry, which examines the role of the Cayuga-Seneca Canal and local industry in the history and growth of Seneca Falls.

The museum invites community members to attend the presentations and directs people seeking more information about the speaker series and other events to visit the museum or follow its social media pages.
