The community space is designed for children of all abilities to play, explore and learn bicycle safety in an outdoor setting, according to the event announcement.
The celebration is at Casey Park, 150 N. Division St.
The project was made possible by the Cayuga County Health Department, New York’s Children and Youth with Special Health Care Needs program and the city of Auburn.
Funding came through the New York State Department of Health using federal Health Resources and Services Administration Title V money.
