According to the sheriff's office, Main approached the person with the objects and caused the person to fear serious injury.

Deputies said Main physically resisted when they tried to detain him.

Main was charged with third-degree menacing and second-degree obstructing governmental administration, both class A misdemeanors.

He was taken to the Seneca County Correctional Facility for arraignment, the sheriff's office said.
