Officers arrested Standbrook at about 12:15 p.m. Tuesday.

Police said the charges stem from incidents Oct. 5 and 11 in which Standbrook is accused of causing a fractured nose and fractured ribs during a dispute.

Police also accused him of placing his hands on the victim's throat, temporarily preventing the person from breathing.

An order of protection was requested on the victim's behalf.

Standbrook was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Waterloo Town Court on Oct. 21.
