Bath homeowner charged with criminal nuisance after police investigation

Bath police charged a Haverling Street homeowner with criminal nuisance Saturday following an investigation into activity at her residence.

Kathleen S. Lott, 59, was taken into custody at about 12:38 p.m. Oct. 3 and charged with one count of second-degree criminal nuisance, a misdemeanor, the Bath Police Department said.

Police allege Lott knowingly allowed people to gather at the home for unlawful activity, including narcotics activity and possession of stolen property. The department said the alleged activity had continued over an extended period despite earlier law enforcement action.

Lott was issued an appearance ticket and is due in Bath Village Court at a later date. The charge is an allegation.
