The fourth annual Shields of Honor Gala will bring supporters of Geneva's police officers and firefighters to Ventosa Vineyards on Saturday, Nov. 7, with expanded auctions and a program honoring local first responders. Organizers say the event has raised more than $144,000 for the two departments over its first three years.
Organizers said cocktails will begin at 5 p.m., followed by dinner and the program at 6:30 p.m. Tickets cost $100, and full tables are available. The event is hosted by Ray Ciancaglini and the Second Impact Foundation.
Ontario County Sheriff Dave Cirencione will serve as master of ceremonies. State Sen. Pam Helming, Geneva Police Chief Ron Eveland and Geneva Fire Chief Del Parrotta are among the scheduled speakers. The chiefs will present the Carlton Naegele Award to Robert Patnesky and the Frank Pane Award to Sebastiano Gentile, according to the organizers.
This year's program will focus on recognizing first responders and raising funds through silent and live auctions. The gala has raised more than $144,000 for Geneva police and firefighters over its first three years, the foundation said. Organizers hope this year's event will bring the cumulative total to $200,000.
Tickets are available through the organizers. For information, contact Patnesky at 315-521-7516, Paul D'Amico at 585-820-8243, Patti Ciancaglini at 315-521-8926 or Erika Van Savage at 315-945-7594.
