Keuka College's Class of 1976 raised more than $53,250 for a new scholarship during the college's Green & Gold Reunion & Family Weekend, held Sept. 25-27.
The Spirit of '76 Scholarship will help students with costs associated with Field Period placements, according to the college's account of the reunion. The class marked its 50th anniversary at the Pathfinders Luncheon, a yearly gathering for graduates reaching that milestone.
The weekend also included class reunions, games, student performances and Friday fireworks on the Keuka Park campus. About 200 alumni, relatives, faculty members and staff attended Saturday's Alumni Association awards and athletics Hall of Fame dinner.
College President Amy Storey recognized the 1976 graduates, who attended Keuka when it admitted only women. Alumna Anne S. Bluemel traveled from Wyoming for the reunion and toured campus to see changes since her student years.
At the dinner, the college recognized its 2025-26 men's basketball team for winning the Empire 8 Conference championship and reaching the NCAA Division III tournament. Players and coach Tom Wilk received championship rings.
The college also honored alumni for professional achievement, service and athletics. The honorees included Harvey Chapel, a 1993 graduate who traveled from the United Kingdom for his Hall of Fame induction; Joyce Cohen, class of 1967, who received the Effective Use of Retirement Award; and Lakesha Carter, a 2013 graduate, who received the Graduate of the Last Decade Award.
