A community benefit for Brad Eldridge will bring together food, raffles and other fundraising activities in southern Cayuga County on Saturday, Oct. 3.
The “Southern Cayuga Unites” benefit will begin at 11 a.m. at the King Ferry Corner Store, with a chicken barbecue prepared by Steve Fedrizzi. Chicken halves will be available for $9, while full dinners will cost $13.
Organizers are also planning a bake sale, bowling tournament, 50/50 raffles and a returnable can drive as part of the fundraiser.
The bowling tournament will be held at the King Ferry Bowling Center, with participants asked to sign up with Billy. Raffles will be available throughout the benefit, including at the Fishing Charter and Picnic Table.
Returnable cans can be dropped off through “Can We Can” at the front yard of the King Ferry Hotel, with help from Frosted Nickel.
