The Seneca River boat launch in the town of Tyre will close from Sept. 2-5 while crews remove trees near the launch, docks and parking area, the state Department of Environmental Conservation said.
The launch is in the Montezuma Wildlife Refuge Area off Route 20 on the Barge Canal, just south of Freebridge in Seneca County.
Boaters can use other DEC boat launches in Seneca County during the closure. A list of those sites is available through the agency's boat launch directory.
