Four Ithaca College student ensembles will perform at Lincoln Center on Nov. 13, the evening before the 2026 Cortaca Jug football game at Yankee Stadium.
The concert, "Legacy in Sound: Featuring the Next Generation of Music Educators and Performers," is scheduled for 7 p.m. at Alice Tully Hall in New York City.
The program will feature the Ithaca College Wind Ensemble, Jazz Ensemble, Symphony Orchestra and Choir. Conductors will include Daniel Cook, Mike Titlebaum, Ho-Yin Kwok and Khyle Wooten.
Highlights will include a commissioned work by Ithaca College professor emeritus Dana Wilson, Adolphus Hailstork's "Shout for Joy" and the final movement of Beethoven's Symphony No. 9. The Jazz Ensemble will also perform selections by Les Brown and Steve Brown.
The performance is supported by alumni Charles Hack, a 1969 music education graduate, and John Neeson, a 1984 economics graduate.
Tickets cost $36, including fees, through the Lincoln Center box office. The Cortaca Jug matchup between Ithaca College and SUNY Cortland is scheduled for the following afternoon.
