A Geneva man faces a felony driving while intoxicated charge following an early Monday traffic stop in the Town of Waterloo, according to the Seneca County Sheriff's Office.
Juan J. Dejesus Gomez, 27, was charged with felony DWI based on a prior conviction within the past 10 years, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and speeding.
Deputies said Dejesus Gomez was stopped around 12:39 a.m. after he was allegedly seen speeding on Border City Road. A DWI investigation was conducted, and he was taken into custody.
The Sheriff's Office said Dejesus Gomez refused to submit to a chemical test. He was taken to the Seneca County Correctional Facility to await arraignment.
