A multiagency search was underway Tuesday evening after a reported drowning in Little Sodus Bay at Fair Haven State Park.
New York State Police said troopers responded to the Cayuga County park around 3:30 p.m. and were joined by marine patrols, fire crews, the United States Coast Guard and a state underwater recovery team.
The Cayuga County and Wayne County sheriff's offices sent marine patrol units, while the Fair Haven Fire Department deployed its boat team.
Members of the State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation were also assisting at the scene.
Police did not release information about the person involved or the outcome of the search. The investigation remained active, and authorities said additional information would be released when available.
