The Yates County Legislature will hold a special meeting July 22 in Penn Yan to consider entering executive session for a real property matter.
The meeting is scheduled for 1 p.m. in the Legislative Chambers at 417 Liberty Street in Penn Yan, according to a notice from Clerk Emilee Miller.
The notice says lawmakers are expected to act on a motion to convene an executive session to discuss the proposed lease or purchase of real property. The stated reason is that publicity would substantially affect the value of the property.
The notice does not identify the property or describe the proposed lease or purchase.
