Livingston County Tourism is launching a month-long craft beverage campaign in July to mark America's 250th anniversary and promote local breweries, wineries and distilleries across the Genesee River Valley.
The campaign, called Revolutionary Pours, runs from July 1 through July 31 and centers on the LivCo Libation Loop, a trail featuring 12 craft beverage stops in Livingston County.
Participants can use the free Visit LivCo app to check in at participating locations through a digital passport. Each stop on the loop has created a custom "Revolutionary Pour," a commemorative beverage tied to the national milestone.
Participants can earn limited-edition rewards while supplies last. Three check-ins earn a custom Revolutionary Pours glass, while six or more check-ins earn both the collector's glass and an exclusive loop T-shirt.
"The Libation Loop is an incredible, award-winning asset for our community that seamlessly connects our entire region into one amazing trail," said Ashley Comeau, Livingston County's director of tourism.
Comeau said the campaign connects historic villages and scenic landscapes through local makers and invites residents and visitors from Rochester and surrounding regions to take part.
Livingston County Tourism said the campaign is meant to encourage residents and visitors to explore local recreation, shopping, dining and cultural experiences while using Livingston County as a summer basecamp.
Participants must be 21 or older to consume alcohol.
