Lyons woman charged after deputies say suspected cocaine found in Junius

A Lyons woman was charged after Seneca County deputies said she was found with suspected cocaine during an investigation in the Town of Junius.

The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office said Alisha Abbott, 38, was arrested June 9 and charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a Class A misdemeanor.

Deputies said the charge stemmed from an incident in Junius. During the investigation, Abbott was allegedly found in possession of suspected cocaine.

Abbott was turned over to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office on an outstanding warrant, deputies said. She was released on an appearance ticket for the Seneca County charge.
