Shoppers in Canandaigua will soon have another discount retail option, according to the Rochester Democrat and Chronicle. Burlington plans to open its new store at Roseland Center on June 26, taking over the former Joann location on Route 364.
The store will be Burlington’s 75th location in New York and will feature the company’s updated store design with wider aisles and expanded signage. A ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled for 8:45 a.m., and the first 100 customers ages 18 and older will receive a $10 bonus card to use toward purchases.
To mark the opening, Burlington will donate $5,000 for classroom supplies at Canandaigua Primary-Elementary School through a partnership with AdoptAClassroom.org. The retailer is also hiring and accepting applications online ahead of the grand opening.
