A traffic stop in the Town of Fayette led to the arrest of a Farmington man on driving while intoxicated charges, according to the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office.
Ryan M. Mark, 36, of Farmington, was arrested at about 8:21 p.m. June 13 after deputies observed a vehicle operating with an inadequate exhaust system.
According to the sheriff’s office, deputies conducted a traffic stop and administered field sobriety tests, which resulted in Mark’s arrest.
Authorities said Mark submitted to a chemical breath test that registered a blood alcohol content of 0.09%.
Mark was issued appearance tickets charging him with driving while intoxicated and driving while intoxicated per se, along with a traffic citation for inadequate exhaust. He is scheduled to appear in Fayette Town Court on July 14 to answer the charges.
