AUBURN: City Council reviews financial and infrastructure items (webcast)

Auburn City Council was scheduled to review several major financial and infrastructure matters during its June 11 meeting, including adoption of the city’s 2026-27 budget and consolidated fee schedule, a first reading of a bond ordinance authorizing up to $2.8 million in borrowing for geothermal HVAC upgrades at City Hall, the police station and ambulance headquarters, and acceptance of state transportation funding allocations. Council members were also expected to consider donations supporting operation of the Casey Park Pool, hear a presentation on state Department of Transportation funding, receive a Pride Month proclamation, and discuss a range of capital improvement projects and municipal service priorities as the city continued work on its budget and long-term infrastructure planning.
