Another week of Wayne-Finger Lakes high school spring sports wrapped up Saturday.
In boys lacrosse, Brayden Arber erupted for 11 goals and three assists for Bloomfield/Honeoye, while Shane Coleman poured in eight goals to lead Wayne and Braden Fingar and Miles Ditzell powered Penn Yan with multi-goal performances. Geneva also saw balanced production from Jacob D’Amico and the Dunham brothers, and Midlakes rolled behind a deep scoring attack. On the girls side, Anabelle Ruffell delivered a dominant eight-point effort for Wayne, while Victor and Canandaigua continued strong runs with double-digit scoring.
In softball, Mynderse combined pitching and power at the plate, highlighted by a four-hit game from Kyah Lajewski and a three-run home run from Hannah O’Brien.
