A Seneca Falls man is celebrating a life-changing win after claiming a $1 million top prize from a New York Lottery scratch-off game.
Andrew Dellefave III purchased the winning Bonus 20X ticket at Corner Market on Route 20 in Seneca Falls, according to lottery officials.
Dellefave chose to receive his winnings as a lump sum payment totaling $436,171 after taxes and required withholdings.
The Bonus 20X game has now awarded all of its top prizes, though players can still claim lower-tier winnings through early 2027.
Lottery officials noted that scratch-off games generated more than $4.3 billion in sales statewide during the most recent fiscal year, with more than $7.1 million directed to education funding in Seneca County.
