Big-time scoring efforts and dominant pitching outings highlighted Wednesday’s Wayne-Finger Lakes spring sports action. In boys lacrosse, Jackson Mead poured in six goals and added an assist to lead Victor, while on the girls side Palmyra-Macedon spread the scoring with multiple multi-goal performances. On the softball diamond, Ally Fenton launched two home runs and drove in five for Mynderse, Addison Gendron sparked Palmyra-Macedon with a three-run homer, and Ella Holmes went 4-for-4 to power Geneva. In baseball, Ayden Klapp struck out 13 in a two-hit complete game for Midlakes, while Ben Smith followed with an 11-strikeout shutout for Wayne.
