A Waterloo man is facing multiple charges after police say he prevented another person from leaving during a domestic incident in Seneca Falls, in violation of an existing order of protection.
The Seneca Falls Police Department reported that Derrick J. Head, 36, was arrested April 11 following an investigation into the incident, which led to allegations of unlawful restraint and prohibited contact.
Head was charged with criminal contempt in the second degree, unlawful imprisonment, and harassment in the second degree. Authorities said the charges stem from actions that allegedly violated a standing order of protection against him.
He was transported to the Seneca County Correctional Facility, where he was held pending arraignment.
