Cayuga County deputies arrested a man this week following a reported domestic incident in the Town of Brutus.
Joseph T. Kwasniak, 57, of Brutus, was charged with third-degree menacing after deputies responded to the scene on State Route 34, according to the Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities said the investigation found Kwasniak placed the victim in a corner and raised a closed fist while making threats of physical harm.
He was arrested at the scene and transported for processing and arraignment.
Kwasniak was released on his own recognizance and is scheduled to appear in Brutus Town Court on April 7 at 7 p.m.
