Two locations of Copper Leaf Brewing Co. appear to have closed permanently, adding to a growing list of craft brewery shutdowns across the Rochester and Finger Lakes region, according to the Rochester Democrat and Chronicle.
The Pittsford location, which reopened under new ownership late last year, posted on social media March 9 that it was permanently closed. The company’s College Town location in Rochester also appears to have shut down after opening in November.
The closures follow several others in recent months, including Rebel Sailor Brewing in Shortsville and Triphammer Bierworks in Fairport, highlighting continued struggles in the local craft beer industry.
