State Assemblymember Anna Kelles is kicking off her re-election campaign with a public event in Ithaca, according to local reports.
Kelles, who represents New York’s 125th District covering Tompkins County and part of Cortland County, will hold the campaign launch at the Argos Warehouse on East State Street. The event is expected to bring together local leaders and supporters.
Kelles said she plans to focus her campaign on issues including affordable housing, climate action, childcare access, and livable wages. The public health scientist and Democrat is seeking another term to continue pushing progressive policies in Albany.
