A traffic stop for a broken headlight in Naples led to a felony weapon charge Monday night.
Jerad S. Lefave, 40, of Naples, was arrested around 8:10 p.m. at 136 South Main St. after deputies stopped his vehicle for an inoperable headlight, according to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office.
During the stop, deputies said they observed Lefave in possession of metal knuckles.
Authorities charged him with criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree, along with driving with an inoperable headlight and failure to wear a seatbelt.
Deputies transported Lefave to the Ontario County Jail, where he is awaiting a CAP court appearance.
