A single-vehicle crash into a utility pole in the Town of Seneca led to a drunken driving charge early Tuesday.
Juan Carlos Santiago Marquez, 30, was taken into custody around 1:21 a.m. March 3 following a personal injury crash investigation on Number Nine Road, according to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies said the crash involved a head-on collision with a utility pole.
Investigators determined Marquez was operating the vehicle on a public highway while intoxicated by alcohol.
Authorities charged him with driving while intoxicated. He was issued uniform traffic tickets and is scheduled to return to Seneca Town Court at a later date.
