Strikes keep piling up for Lansing’s bowling teams, and the wins aren’t far behind, according to ESPN Ithaca | WPIE. The boys rolled to a 62-10 record and claimed the IAC Small School Division title on total pinfall, while the girls jumped from 35-37 to 46-26 this season.
Junior Nicco Binns leads the charge with an IAC-best 200 average, plus a 268 high game and 720 series. Tyler Paige and Nathan Armstrong also earned all-star honors. On the girls side, senior Sienna Wright paces the team with a 140 average and steady leadership.
Both squads now eye the Section IV Class C championship Feb. 20-21 in Vestal, where Tioga and Newark Valley loom. Coaches say converting tough splits could decide who lifts the trophy.
