A Palmyra-Macedon eighth grader rolled into the record books after winning the school’s first-ever Section V bowling championship, according to the Times of Wayne County.
Nora Rowe captured the Section V Class C title with a combined score of 1,270 across morning and afternoon sessions. The two-year varsity bowler posted rounds of 594 and 676, finishing ahead of the competition.
The victory also earned Rowe a spot on the individual New York State Composite Bowling team and the Class C All-Tournament Team. The state championships are set for March 13 in Syracuse.
