Deputies took a 34-year-old man into custody after a domestic incident investigation tied to a Canandaigua motel.
Rafael Nieves-Cruz, who is listed as homeless, faces multiple charges including criminal contempt and aggravated family offense.
The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office said the case stems from a domestic incident that occurred between Feb. 5 and Feb. 9 at the Woodridge Motel.
Authorities charged Nieves-Cruz with criminal contempt in the first and second degree, aggravated family offense, and stalking in the fourth degree.
Deputies transported him to the Ontario County Jail for CAP Court, where officials held him without bail.
In a separate release dated Feb. 13, authorities said they took Nieves-Cruz into custody at the Ontario County Jail on additional charges stemming from the same incident, including aggravated harassment in the second degree.
Officials said he was held for CAP Court to answer the charges.
