Freshman Aiden Long scored the tying goal 7:20 into the third period, deflecting a shot from Caton Ryan to even the score after RPI had taken a 1-0 lead midway through the second period on Mathieu Bourgault’s deflection. Cornell (17-6-1, 12-4-1 ECAC Hockey) was held scoreless through the opening two periods despite generating consistent pressure, while RPI goaltender Bruno Bruveris stopped 31 shots.

Senior goaltender Remington Keopple, appearing in his first game in more than a month, matched Bruveris with a career-high 31 saves to keep the Big Red within reach. Cornell finished the game without committing a penalty and improved to 9-0-1 this season when allowing one goal or fewer.
