Wayne County deputy marks 20 years of service

LYONS — The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office is recognizing Deputy Sheriff Rachel D’Amato-Carr for reaching a milestone 20 years of service.

D’Amato-Carr joined the Sheriff’s Office in January 2006 and currently serves as the School Resource Officer at Sodus Central School District. In addition to her work in the schools, she serves as a Field Training Officer, Peer Support Officer and member of the department’s Crisis Intervention Team.

Sheriff’s officials said D’Amato-Carr has built strong relationships with students and staff, and is known for her commitment to supporting youth in the community.

The department thanked D’Amato-Carr for her continued service and dedication to Wayne County, noting her contributions both in law enforcement and in the school environment.
