The Orange featured a balanced offensive effort with 11 different players scoring goals. Senior Michael Leo and freshman Wyatt Hottle each scored twice, and freshman Ted Rawson registered the first two goals of his collegiate career.

Syracuse established control early, building a multi-goal advantage in the opening quarter and extending the lead steadily throughout the game. The Orange capitalized on efficient shooting and strong clearing play, consistently breaking through Saint Joseph’s defensive pressure while limiting the Hawks’ scoring opportunities.

Senior goalkeeper Jimmy McCool anchored the defensive effort, finishing with 10 saves while allowing just two goals. Syracuse’s defense held Saint Joseph’s to limited chances on net and maintained possession for extended stretches, helping the Orange maintain momentum on both ends of the field.

Syracuse now prepares to host No. 1 Maryland next Friday, February 13, at the JMA Wireless Dome, with faceoff scheduled for 6 p.m.
