Canandaigua National Bank opens Syracuse office

Canandaigua National Bank has officially opened its first Community Office in Syracuse, marking a major expansion into Central New York.

The new branch, located at 333 Washington St., is now open for business and serves as the first of four Syracuse-area offices planned to open this year.

Bank leaders say the response from the community has confirmed the decision to expand. Frank H. Hamlin III, president and CEO, said the welcome has been both humbling and encouraging as the bank brings its services to a new region.

The bank has hired local employees to staff the office, focusing on experience and community involvement as it establishes a presence in Syracuse.

The Washington Station Office is managed by Rima Arnold, who brings more than 25 years of banking experience and a strong commitment to community service.

Canandaigua National Bank operates as an independent, full-service financial institution. It offers personal and business banking, commercial lending, mortgage services, and wealth management.

A grand opening celebration is planned for March. More information about the Syracuse expansion is available at cnbank.com/syracuse.
