A Sex Offender Registry violation in Seneca Falls led to an arrest Wednesday morning.
Police arrested Stephen R. Kennedy, 36, of Waterloo at 10:35 a.m. Jan. 14, according to the Town of Seneca Falls Police Department.
Investigators say Kennedy failed to report required information to the New York State Sex Offender Registry. Police began looking into the issue in late 2025 after discovering the missing information.
Police charged Kennedy with sex offender failure to register. Officers issued him an appearance ticket instead of holding him in custody.
Kennedy is due back in court at a later date.
