A longtime soccer player is bringing her medical skills to Finger Lakes Health’s urgent care clinics.
UR Medicine Finger Lakes Health announced that Lisa Nelson, PA-C, has joined its Urgent Care team, expanding care options across the region.
Nelson earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Le Moyne College in Syracuse. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Canisius College in Buffalo.
Outside the clinic, Nelson stays active in the local sports community. She serves as an assistant coach for the Penn Yan girls’ varsity soccer team.
UR Medicine Finger Lakes Health operates urgent care centers at three locations in the Finger Lakes.
Patients can visit the Penn Yan location at 418 North Main Street, inside Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hospital. The phone number is 315-531-2020.
Urgent care is also available in Geneva at 789 Pre-Emption Road in the Finger Lakes Health Commons. That location can be reached at 315-781-2000.
The Seneca Falls urgent care site is located at 1991 Balsley Road at Lifecare Medical Associates. The phone number there is 315-835-4900.
