A reported break-in late Friday night led deputies to arrest a Manchester man.
Jared Scott Schumacher, 22, forced his way into a home on Shortsville Road while intoxicated, according to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies said Schumacher violated an active order of protection during the incident. Investigators charged him with second-degree burglary, second-degree criminal contempt, second-degree criminal trespass, and third-degree criminal mischief.
Deputies transported Schumacher to the Ontario County Jail to await arraignment.
