Police arrested a man early Thursday morning following a criminal contempt investigation in Seneca Falls.
Joseph W. Donson, 22, of Seneca Falls was taken into custody at 5:52 a.m., according to police.
Officers with the Town of Seneca Falls Police Department charged Donson with one count of criminal contempt in the second degree. The charge is a class A misdemeanor.
Police processed Donson and transported him to the Seneca County Correctional Facility. He is being held there while he awaits arraignment.
Authorities also requested an order of protection on behalf of the victim.
