Deputies arrested a Sodus man after responding to a report of family trouble in the village.
Patrick Carroll, 48, is facing charges that include harassment, endangering the welfare of a child, and criminal obstruction of breathing.
Investigators say Carroll got into a physical fight with a family member who is under the age of 17. He allegedly shoved the juvenile to the ground and applied pressure to their neck.
The incident happened on Sergeant Street in the Village of Sodus. Carroll was taken to the Wayne County Jail and was scheduled to be arraigned at CAP court early Tuesday morning.
