A Dundee woman was arrested this week after lab results confirmed a white powder found in June was methamphetamine.
Darcey L. Semmel, 44, is charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Police say she was found with a plastic bag containing white powder. The bag was sent to the NYS Police Crime Lab, which confirmed it was meth.
The incident happened June 25 in the Village of Penn Yan. Semmel was arraigned in Penn Yan Village Court following the lab report.
She is scheduled to return to court to answer the charge.
