A verbal argument in a Penn Yan parking lot led to a criminal charge for a local man.
Police arrested 64-year-old Vincent Scarpechi for second-degree menacing after he allegedly displayed a knife during the dispute.
The incident happened in the parking lot of a local business. Officers took statements from everyone involved before issuing Scarpechi an appearance ticket.
He’s due in Penn Yan Village Court on December 8.
