A long-running noise dispute on Seneca Lake is peaking as Fayette planners prepare to decide whether a popular wedding venue can add a seasonal bar, according to the Finger Lakes Times.
Homeowners on Abbott Drive say Seneca Ridge’s late-night music already disrupts their peace and hurt property values, and they want the town to reject the owners’ request — and even void the original permit. The venue’s operators argue they’ll cut weddings, limit music to 10 p.m., and run a quieter family-friendly bar.
The Planning Board will rule Tuesday, and both sides say they’re ready to push back if the decision goes against them.
