A Watertown man is facing a felony charge following an investigation into online child exploitation materials.
New York State Police arrested Michael R. Graveline, 38, on November 6 for one count of possession of a sexual performance by a child, a Class E felony.
Troopers say the arrest came after a search warrant was executed as part of an Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force investigation. Authorities were looking into the transmission of child sexual exploitation material online.
The case was investigated by members of the State Police Computer Crime Unit – Troop D, the Troop D Bureau of Criminal Investigation – Watertown, and the Massachusetts State Police.
Graveline was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in court on November 26 at 5:30 p.m.
The ICAC Task Force continues to target individuals who exploit children through digital platforms and works with law enforcement agencies to stop the spread of child sexual abuse material.
