With kennels full after a surge in rescues, the Ontario County Humane Society is pushing to get 50 animals adopted by year’s end, according to WHAM.
The “Clear the Kennel” campaign offers free adoptions to military, veterans, and first responders, and 50% off for everyone else. Each pet is vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed or neutered — or comes with a voucher.
The shelter’s already placed nearly 100 animals this year and continues to investigate dozens of cruelty cases.
