Thursday’s Wayne-Finger Lakes sports schedule was light, featuring only volleyball and one football matchup as soccer sectionals paused ahead of Friday’s quarterfinals. The Bloomfield girls’ volleyball team stole the spotlight, finishing off a flawless 19-0 regular season with a straight-set win over Wayne. Meanwhile, Newark/Marion football closed out its regular season on a sour note, dropping its fourth straight game after a 4-0 start.
