Hands-on ag program opens new doors for 9th graders

Freshmen in Wayne County can now dive into welding, grain farming, and even reptiles, thanks to a new Agripath program at Marion Central, according to WayneTimes.com. The agriculture-focused track, developed with W-FL BOCES, offers full-day, career-based learning and meets graduation requirements.

The program includes small class sizes, therapy services, and music and art instruction. Marion leaders say it’s already drawing interest from nearby districts.

At North Rose-Wolcott, a new Alternative Tutoring option gives students flexible, customized instruction with proven results—part of a broader push to expand student support across the region.
