Police say a Canandaigua man headbutted an officer while receiving care at the hospital after being found intoxicated in public.
Officers responded to Lakeshore Drive on October 10 and found 36-year-old Paul J. Soltis in a highly intoxicated state.
He was taken to Thompson Hospital for safety but became erratic and allegedly headbutted an officer.
Soltis was charged with harassment and released with an appearance ticket.
