A Horseheads man has been arrested following a joint investigation into sexual abuse involving multiple juvenile victims, according to New York State Police.
Troopers say 29-year-old Kenneth G. Morales was identified during a multi-agency investigation that began in August. The case involves alleged abuse in both Chemung and Schuyler counties.
The investigation was launched after authorities developed information about historical sexual abuse. Forensic interviews with juvenile victims were conducted at the Chemung County Child Advocacy Center, where Morales was named as the suspect.
On October 8, Morales was arrested without incident. He was charged with predatory sexual assault, a class A-II felony, and remanded to the Schuyler County Jail on $300,000 cash bail or $600,000 bond.
